Masak Lemak Cili Api with MozzaRella CheeEse..!! Zaque’s style ;)

Ahad yg almost indah..

Bgn pagi pukul 6 nampak suamiku tidur atas sofa???whaatt was he doing all night?

hmm..ok…I marry a workaholic husband lahh..what to do. So now I’m thinking of cooking something that he loovvess so much.Masak lemak cili api..hisshh..nak kata orang nogori, tak. Tapi suka makan masak lemak cili api ngalahkan org nogori..nak buek camno..dah ekau minat kat abby yus..huhu.

So we went to pasar tani earlier this morning after having breakfast at McDonald..hmm..lovely McD roasted coffee. Best..beli serai 5 batang 50sen.bawang 7 biji 70sen. Patu nak beli halia, amik sebiji je..masa nk bayar abg tu kata “amikla..abg kasi.” heh?? bior betul..abg ni nk meniaga ke tak?huhu..whatever..rezeki aku. Oh ya..udang sederhana RM10 sepinggan. Ok kot..So total pasar tani = RM 11.20.

btw, I would like to share down my new invented recipe for masak lemak cili api..It’s my style.heheh..Cik Jah oii..jgn lupa salin resipi ni..

Bahan2 ( Utk 2-4 org)

  • 1 biji bawang besar
  • 1 biji bawang putih
  • sebatang serai (diketuk)
  • 3 inci kunyit hidup
  • 1 inci halia
  • Cili api dlm 10 batang
  • Kiub ikan bilis Maggi ( tanpa MSG)
  • sebatang daun saderi ( US Celery)
  • 1/2 kotak santan
  • Mozzarella cheese atau Cheddar cheese
  • lebih kurang 12-15 ekor udang sederhana yg dah dibersih (jgn buang kepala, bersihkan jer)
  • garam secukup rasa ( I used 1 tablespoon)
  • Minyak utk tumis

Cara- caranya puan2 yer…

Kunyit, halia, bawang besar, bawang putih, cili api dikisar menggunakan blender. Sapa rajin boleh la tumbuk guna lesung batu. Panaskan sedikit minyak dlm periuk Vision anda (amboih mentang2 I ada periuk Vision, perlu ke nak mention Cik Jah??)..then tumis bahan2 yg dah dikisar tadi.

Masukkan serai dan kiub ikan bilis. Bila dah naik bau yg agak2 sedap hidung kita bau, letak dlm 1/2 cawan air. Then masukkan udang. Pastu kira sampai 20, masukkan santan dan kacau. Pastu masukkan cheese pilihan puan2 dan kacau lagi. Masukkan garam secukup rasa dan biar menggelegak. Bila agak2 dah masak udang tu dlm 10 minit camtu masukkan daun saderi. tadaaa..! dah siap.

Tak payah transfer, terus jer hidangkan gulai lomak tu dgn mangkuk periuk Vision kat atas meja makan.hmm…..sedap, lazat, tanpa MSG, penambat perut suami..wahhhhh gitu.

Selamat mencuba Cik Jah oii.. ;)

Simple but nice favour bag :)

Hey there! Just wanna share the post that I posted previously on my wedding website. :)

We would like to share with you about something special from Martha Stewart wedding. Here is a stamped paperbox favour ideal as a candy bag. It is very easy and cost savvy. Perfect for DIY bride. Just simple!

Simple sacks make perfect favor packages when given a handle and personalized with a stamp. To make them, you will need white paper bags (ours are 3 inches by 6 1/4 inches), a rubber stamp, paper cord, double-sided tape, and candy. A rubber-stamp company or office-supply store will make a stamp for you; just provide a line drawing or printout of an image with your names and wedding date. Stamp your design onto a flat bag (place a piece of cardboard inside for a smooth surface). Place candy in bag (don’t make the bag too heavy), and fold top of bag over twice. Place double-sided tape under flap of fold (but do not seal yet). Cut an 11-inch length of paper cord; knot ends and trim. Loop cord under flap, knot in center; press the flap down, enclosing the cord.

When I realize, it’s my birthdayy…!!!! wahahaha…no wonder laa..

He was still sleeping beside me. But I do remember last night when I was dozzing off quite after midnight. I heard a whisper saying the word “happy birthday darling, I feel good that this year I would be able to be with u, only both of us on your birthday eve”… *wink*wink*. And a tight huggy accompanying me for my sleeping journey.

But then I woke up again at 6am and I found out that I was sleeping on the carpet rupanya…sabar jer laa…And he is still working in front of computer??!

Whatever..I went back to sleep. And I woke up again and feel good….!!!!

I was thinking not to celebrate my birthday this year. Visited my parent this morning to say thank you for raising me up and just wanna be at home all day with him. That’s all. I feel good..lalalalala… ;)

Thank you for all the lovely wishes. I feel blessed surrounded by all the lovely people in my life. I’m praying for the good things to happen in our life. May all of us will be blessed by Allah swt. Amin.

Sunway Lagoon with big family..hip-hip-hooray!

On the 13th of February last week, me and my big happy family were spending our holiday at Sunway Lagoon and we really had fun and blast out! It was CNY eve so the park were very loose with people. Nice..!

The kids were really enjoyed themselves and my brothers and sisters went real crazy that we took the crazy rides for more than twice! We’d get my mum and dad for a roller coaster ride and they loved it! haha..nasib baik mereka takde sakit jantung. My mum was just wonderful and she even followed us to ride all those challenging waterpark games.

We were entering the park just before it opens and spending our time till it closed. It worth the money when all of us were having fun together and laughing and screaming like nobody’s business in the park. Adult price is RM48 for 2 parks which consists of Amusement Park & Water Park. For children under 11 yrs old and senior citizen, the price is RM36. But RM10 deposit is required and it is included in the electronic wrist band provided. Basically you can use them in the park by tagging the band at any cashier to buy drinks or food. They’re no longer using the old paper wrist band.

After Sunway lagoon, we headed to my brother’s house in Kelana Jaya and I can’t feel my bones at all. Damn tired. Fell asleep few hours before heading back to Setapak. The next morning, following another plan for BBQ at our dad’s kampung in Bukit Badong.huarghh…!!

Ways to cut-off wedding expenses

As we know, planning a wedding can be a very hectic issue mentally and physically. Other than mind stressful, it is all about cost management and budgeting issue. Here are some tips for the bride-to-be to cut-off their wedding expenses.

  • Organize your own wedding

Organizing your own wedding can really save a lot of unnecessary expenses. It is fun and more satisfaction (but yes,you might be getting a severe headache). You can get help from your family or best friend to do it together. But you must be very well organized in this matter. Appoint someone to monitor the process. Distribute the job accordingly. Get a diary or organizer and list down everything that you need and don’t forget to compare all the price quotations that you get from a different vendor. You might need at least six months to one year in order to get good result and do a research. Just be confident and believe that you can do it. Here, you might save thousands for a wedding planner cost. In Malaysia, wedding planner normally charge 10% from your total wedding expenses of minimal RM30000. Below than that, it’s a fix fee of a minimum RM2500. So, if the total is RM30,000, it means you’ll have to pay them RM3000. That is a lot man! So you choose, RM3000 for wedding planner (that you can actually plan your own) or RM3000 for shopping during honeymoon?hmm..tough decision huh? Save cost or headache free? You choose.

  • Rent your dress, don’t buy

Research! It is important! Take your time to make some research and find your perfect wedding dress at smaller cost. You might consider to rent instead of buying new one. This is a way to save money on wedding dress. Somehow, buying a new one and wear it once in a lifetime is bad idea right? And you’ll have a choice of getting your custom made design or just wear whatever the boutique has in their store. Normally it is cheaper to get what they already have in the store. Another way is, you can actually search for some people who already have a dress that they wear during their wedding and now they rent it out. They’re not a boutique owner, they’re just a person who own the dress. It is a lot cheaper and don’t forget to negotiate!

  • Avoid designer tailor

If you really fancy a designer wedding dress, and the price is cutting your neck out, consider approaching your local tailor and show them the design that you want (just cut it out from newspaper or magazine), ask their advice in choosing a fabric that suits the design, go and buy the fabric during sales season, and ask them to make it. Taa-daa..! you got your own dress now! A designer dress costs minimal of RM3000, just for you to wear during your wedding and you got to return it back. Woww..! Try to budget around RM1000 for quality fabric, RM600 for tailoring the dress, RM150 for wedding shoes, RM50 for rental of accessories, RM500 for groom’s wear (rent or buy new). It is just RM2300. Isn’t it cool? Extra RM700 for other things. How about to spend them for a gorgeous hand bouquet?

  • Get your wedding venue at your family house

Trendy wedding is not all about your venue or location. Having your wedding at your family house can save money on rental of wedding hall or hotel. You may have a lovely aunty or uncle who owns a lovely house in a convenient location or a beautiful villa. Ask them a favour. They love you remember? All you need is to prepare a budget for catering with beautiful tents. But make sure the rental for the tents are a lot cheaper than renting a hall. Make a research first!

  • Get photography shots without album

One of the idea of cost saving on photography. Take your time properly to search for your professional photographer. Take a look at their portfolio. If you really like their work style, get the price without album. Shoots only and get the softcopy. Do a survey and check out the best price. After the wedding, you and your newly partner can spend time to have a look at the photos and choose yourself which photos you want to get printed in the album. After the selection process is done, save in pendrive and send them for custom album printing. A lot of company is offering this particular service such as www.mystorybook.com.my, photobook and more. Other than cost effective way, it is also giving you an opportunity to select the picture that you like rather than paying someone else to select the picture for you. If you have simple picture editing skill, it’s a bonus. Or simply ask your friend who knows and work it out together to achieve result that you like.It is far more satisfying when you see the album because you’re the one who select the picture and custom made you own album.  Or normally the one who’d you appoint as your printer will do the editing for you. Depends on their service.

  • Go honeymoon locally

You really have emptied your bank and how on earth you’ll get a budget for exclusive honeymoon? Don’t stress out. Discuss with your partner and plan to go travel locally. In Malaysia, there are more than five best island in the world located and hundreds of exclusive hotels and resort operating to serve their guests at the best possible. Get some info and book your romantic honeymoon without having your pocket stress out of thinking about foreign currency exchange and passport or visa.

Hmm..well, get organized, be focus..spend wisely and know what you want in your wedding. Good luck!
