Ahad yg almost indah..
Bgn pagi pukul 6 nampak suamiku tidur atas sofa???whaatt was he doing all night?
hmm..ok…I marry a workaholic husband lahh..what to do. So now I’m thinking of cooking something that he loovvess so much.Masak lemak cili api..hisshh..nak kata orang nogori, tak. Tapi suka makan masak lemak cili api ngalahkan org nogori..nak buek camno..dah ekau minat kat abby yus..huhu.
So we went to pasar tani earlier this morning after having breakfast at McDonald..hmm..lovely McD roasted coffee. Best..beli serai 5 batang 50sen.bawang 7 biji 70sen. Patu nak beli halia, amik sebiji je..masa nk bayar abg tu kata “amikla..abg kasi.” heh?? bior betul..abg ni nk meniaga ke tak?huhu..whatever..rezeki aku. Oh ya..udang sederhana RM10 sepinggan. Ok kot..So total pasar tani = RM 11.20.
btw, I would like to share down my new invented recipe for masak lemak cili api..It’s my style.heheh..Cik Jah oii..jgn lupa salin resipi ni..
Bahan2 ( Utk 2-4 org)
- 1 biji bawang besar
- 1 biji bawang putih
- sebatang serai (diketuk)
- 3 inci kunyit hidup
- 1 inci halia
- Cili api dlm 10 batang
- Kiub ikan bilis Maggi ( tanpa MSG)
- sebatang daun saderi ( US Celery)
- 1/2 kotak santan
- Mozzarella cheese atau Cheddar cheese
- lebih kurang 12-15 ekor udang sederhana yg dah dibersih (jgn buang kepala, bersihkan jer)
- garam secukup rasa ( I used 1 tablespoon)
- Minyak utk tumis
Cara- caranya puan2 yer…
Kunyit, halia, bawang besar, bawang putih, cili api dikisar menggunakan blender. Sapa rajin boleh la tumbuk guna lesung batu. Panaskan sedikit minyak dlm periuk Vision anda (amboih mentang2 I ada periuk Vision, perlu ke nak mention Cik Jah??)..then tumis bahan2 yg dah dikisar tadi.
Masukkan serai dan kiub ikan bilis. Bila dah naik bau yg agak2 sedap hidung kita bau, letak dlm 1/2 cawan air. Then masukkan udang. Pastu kira sampai 20, masukkan santan dan kacau. Pastu masukkan cheese pilihan puan2 dan kacau lagi. Masukkan garam secukup rasa dan biar menggelegak. Bila agak2 dah masak udang tu dlm 10 minit camtu masukkan daun saderi. tadaaa..! dah siap.
Tak payah transfer, terus jer hidangkan gulai lomak tu dgn mangkuk periuk Vision kat atas meja makan.hmm…..sedap, lazat, tanpa MSG, penambat perut suami..wahhhhh gitu.
Selamat mencuba Cik Jah oii..
Wonderful day.
When I woke up this morning, I feel something strong inside me. It’s like an energy that I never felt before. It’s a new day in my whole life. I feel good….hmmmm
When I realize, it’s my birthdayy…!!!! wahahaha…no wonder laa..
He was still sleeping beside me. But I do remember last night when I was dozzing off quite after midnight. I heard a whisper saying the word “happy birthday darling, I feel good that this year I would be able to be with u, only both of us on your birthday eve”… *wink*wink*. And a tight huggy accompanying me for my sleeping journey.
But then I woke up again at 6am and I found out that I was sleeping on the carpet rupanya…sabar jer laa…And he is still working in front of computer??!
Whatever..I went back to sleep. And I woke up again and feel good….!!!!
I was thinking not to celebrate my birthday this year. Visited my parent this morning to say thank you for raising me up and just wanna be at home all day with him. That’s all. I feel good..lalalalala…
Thank you for all the lovely wishes. I feel blessed surrounded by all the lovely people in my life. I’m praying for the good things to happen in our life. May all of us will be blessed by Allah swt. Amin.
Love.

On the 13th of February last week, me and my big happy family were spending our holiday at Sunway Lagoon and we really had fun and blast out! It was CNY eve so the park were very loose with people. Nice..!

The kids were really enjoyed themselves and my brothers and sisters went real crazy that we took the crazy rides for more than twice! We’d get my mum and dad for a roller coaster ride and they loved it! haha..nasib baik mereka takde sakit jantung. My mum was just wonderful and she even followed us to ride all those challenging waterpark games.

We were entering the park just before it opens and spending our time till it closed. It worth the money when all of us were having fun together and laughing and screaming like nobody’s business in the park. Adult price is RM48 for 2 parks which consists of Amusement Park & Water Park. For children under 11 yrs old and senior citizen, the price is RM36. But RM10 deposit is required and it is included in the electronic wrist band provided. Basically you can use them in the park by tagging the band at any cashier to buy drinks or food. They’re no longer using the old paper wrist band.

After Sunway lagoon, we headed to my brother’s house in Kelana Jaya and I can’t feel my bones at all. Damn tired. Fell asleep few hours before heading back to Setapak. The next morning, following another plan for BBQ at our dad’s kampung in Bukit Badong.huarghh…!!

I’ve been living with a shadow overhead..
I’ve been sleeping with a cloud above my bed..
I’ve been lonely for so long..
Trapped in the past I just can’t seem to move on..
ehhh…apa kena mengena pulak dengan homecooked is the best food to eat ehh??
huhuhu..actually I was just thinking about the song when I’m about to write into this post..:P
I wanted to say that I’ve been living as a wifey for almost 6 months now and we’ve been staying alone together for about 2 weeks since we moved in. So, for the past 2 weeks, we’d spent our time eating at home. And it’s soo lovely. I love that feeling. I’m glad that he likes my cooking. Despite preparing the simplest dishes in the world, the feeling that matters.
Hmm…tonite we had fried brinjal and minced meat with chicken nugget and rice accompanied by h2o with lime for our dinner. Very simple, easy and lovely dinner for two of us..*wink*
One – Step.Setapak. Definitely forward.
A new place where I’m living right now. It’s just ‘one step’ away from my parent’s place in Keramat and ‘one step’ away from my in law’s place in Gombak. huhu..
Btw, it was my hubby’s late granny’s house. Nobody is willing to live here. So the house was empty after their funeral last year. The family had discussed to let us stay here. For me, I’m ok. I have married their son. I’m willing to go wherever he brings me to. So, here I am. Living in his late granny’s house. And I’m just grateful as long as I have a place to live. Alhamdulillah. Thanks to the family..
The process of adaption for me with the house is easy. The house quite similar to my parent’s house. It is a single storey terrace house and very comfortable for 2 of us. I promise to take a good care of this house as close as his late granny did.
Well, I am now a resident of Setapak Garden. Until further notice.huhu..notice of ‘For Sale’.
I love Sydney sooo much..My parent and I had a really great time there. Here are my travel journal to share with eveyone.. Enjoy reading and gain some info about Sydney!
Date: 28th December 2009 – 5th January 2010.

Day One : 28th December 2009
Safely arrived at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, NSW via Malaysia Airlines MH 141 local time @ 8.15pm. Awesome flight and crew. Seems like we were the only Malay passengers onboard.huhu..
Earlier, during checking in, I discovered something..Our visa!!! Oh God..what the hell..I’m going to Australia and I had no idea that we need that. I thought it was included when we got the tickets. Hell no! THEY forgot to issue for me. The price was already included but it wasn’t been issue yet. And it was 2 hours before my flight! Luckily the check in staff were very helpful and guiding us what to do. So I need to hurry to ticketing counter and ask the staff to issue for us. My God..breathless! Thank God.. I thought that I was suspended to go overseas. Crazy..
Btw, the flight was awesome and we reached there on time. My cousin, Cat is already waiting at the arrival hall and ready to take us to her house. Yes, we were staying at my cousin’s house in Chatswood. It is about 5 rail stations away to the city. So we save money on accomodation. Cool rite? huhu..btw there are so many hotels and budget hotels in Sydney. If you prefer to stay in town u can try Kirribili area. Its walking distance in the city and easy access to all major transport hub. But I think the rate is quite pricey.
1st day, we just rest at home. My lovely cousin have cooked dinner for welcoming us. We took a tour around her lovely villa. It was really lovely house. Surrounded by nature. Big trees and her rose bush. Blue gum and friends out there..cool! and swimming pool too? owh no..
hmm..I think that’s for our 1st day..will come out soon for the rest of the holiday ya!! with more pics..of course!
Believe it or not, this is my very 1st time travel to Cameron Highland in my life. Shame on u, Siti Zakiah..

By the way, I had a lot of fun there. Thanks to my brother who had arranged this trip well. The trip began at 4am before we stop at Petronas to fuel up and topped up our Touch & Go. It’s kinda hard though to wake up at 3am but when I think about the strawberries that I’m gonna eat later, my eyes popped out easily. weee..!
Ok, before we begin the journey, lets review about the place. Cameron Highland is located in the state of Pahang, approximately 215km north Kuala Lumpur. The main attractions are strawberry farms, tea plantations, fresh vegetables garden, rose garden and butterfly farms. Major town in Cameron Highland is Brinchang where we can find hotels and resorts as well as restaurants. Tanah Rata is also a hub whereas it seats a lot of hotels and shops. Its a convenient place to stay overnight. There also located Malay villages where most of the people here is Malay.
Hmm..okay, we started the journey through Plus Highway from Kuala Lumpur all the way to exit Simpang Pulai. We stopped at R&R Tapah for freshen up. Fuel up the car and fill up our stomach and watch the sunrise.. =)
Fuel costs approximately RM70 for my dad’s Auto Iswara whereas toll fees RM 26.20 from KL to Simpang Pulai. Its worth the journey as we enjoyed the view soo much. I forced my sister to not sleeping thru out the journey. I slept 3 hrs only ok. So I need a company especially its my dad’s car and I forgot to bring my own CD compile of my fav songs. Damn..the radio keeps turning from one channel to another from Hitz.fm to Tamil station. grrr…btw, we hav our own way to enjoy it.heee..
From exit Simpang Pulai it took about 1 hour before we reach Kg Raja at 8.30am. We stopped by for enjoying the view and buy some fresh veggies. This time the fruits and vegetables are really fresh from the garden. For breakfast we bought tangy sweet potatoes and hot curry puff and eating while walking along the road side. The weather was nice and comfy. Not too cold and just nice. But the traffic started to build up along the road. Yup, its school holiday season no wonder..
Our journey continues to BOH tea plantations. An adventurous route ups and downs the hills was really a true nitemare. Especially for the driver. Fuhh…a two way narrow path along the hill slope was complete adventure dude! But it was fun and we enjoyed the view. Nope, THEY enjoyed the view..huhu.. at this moment I remembered a saying,
“The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.”
The smell of fresh air comes from the tea leaves makes me feel like inhaling a tea flavoured oxygen. It was damn healthy feeling up there. The air and the view was sooo nice and soo green. Its an eye therapy as well. We hangout at the cafe while having fresh brewed cuppa tea with the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen in my own country. I’m so regret that I’ve missed the opportunity to visit this place before I travel outside Malaysia..

Well..well..well…
Self-plucking strawberry was my favorite activity. We paid RM20 for 2 persons, one tray of half kg strawberries. It was fun. Though written there no eating while plucking, but, “ada aku kesah?” huhuhu…I actually asked permission from the guy who guarded the area to ‘taste’ the strawberry. And he said yes. So it was halal ok..And we eat the strawberries like it was my father’s farm.huhuhu..and thanks to the guy now I got sore throat.

We continued the journey to another tea plantations which is called Bharat Tea Plantations after lunch in one of Malay restaurant in Brinchang . It is second largest tea producer in Malaysia. We stopped by for tea break and enjoying the view. My brother was busy snapping with his new Nikon D90. Toilet session before heading our journey down the valley. Err..talking about toilet, I’ve been thinking twice to do my ‘business’ here. Its the view from the toilet! OMG..U’ll be doing your ‘business’ with awesome view. I was wondering if there’s a people out there across the valley using a binoculars to peep us throwing a ‘business’ here.huhuhu…scary. Btw, the farm is located on the way to Tanah Rata from Ringlet.

After playground session in Tanah Rata, we continued our journey home. And the adventure started again. This time we used Tapah route to get down the hill. Its quite scenic with primary and secondary forest and you’ll find an Orang Asli settlement and be fascinated with the durian stalls along the way. But the journey as I mentioned, was very very adventurous. You’ll have to get ready with your Panadol and plastic bag in case of vomiting. Not recommended for pregnant lady. heee…I’m serious ok. It is a narrow two way path, zigzag crooked and we were lucky to follow behind a big lorry. The lorry was beneficial to us as it horns out loud to alert vehicle coming from the opposite way. We believe that the lorry was Optimus Prime guarding our horrible journey down the valley. Weee..! We’re Bumble bee…!
We were ”Thank God” after we saw a signboard noted Kuala Lumpur and a straight smooth road after 45minutes gone through a wild journey. We took our time to get a shower and freshen up in Tapah R&R. Oh my..Oh my..can I just sleep over here?..Of course not, silly you. U have to go back home quickly coz u leave your husband at home remember? errghh…Ok ok..So the journey continues after spending about 1 and a half hour resting in the R&R. We can’t stay longer here. One of the reason because I wrongly parked my dad’s little Iswara at the bus & lorry area ~crap…caused by the crooked journey we had..
We finally get home at 10.30pm. Syukur Alhamdulillahh….thats all I can say. The journey was kinda adventurous and my leg is now unbalance caused by auto car driving. Salonpas is my good friend now.
Wow! great journey and great destinations I had discover today. An unforgettable experience, pleasant memory yet painful body as the side effect. Heeee…Still, this place is gonna be an ’iLove’ place. And this journey experience gonna be a lesson for me to understand and relate to our life journey that
“Its the journey that counts, the destination, is a bonus”
..a quote born from the heart of Zaque.
Thanks for reading..!!
Dinner at Sakura Kristal was awesome. I love the foods and the ambience. Located at Jusco AU2, very near to my house. It was actually to celebrate my dad’s birthday but my mum wasn’t here. She went to Malacca for a course to become Prime Minister. She’s actually another few more steps to become one.nahh..kidding! It’s regarding something related to political event. So my generous elder brother asked us to gather for dinner with my dad. Ok it was nice that i dun have to cook when my mum’s not around. Thank u brother! huhu..(and thank u mum) =P
So we’re having fun there as I ordered delicious cantonese kuey tiaw and they ordered a lot more foods including lamb chop, lemon chicken, fish & chips, mee hailam, nasi goreng Indon and much more. Selamat hari raya Aidil Adha…!!hm..
Hari korban..hari raya haji bagi umat Islam seluruh dunia. Semalam, kakak ipar yg tersayang pergi meninggalkan tanahair untuk mencapai cita2 nya. Boleh dianggap korban juga bg dirinya. Dgn caranya sendiri. Pergi mengejar cita2 sebagai peramugari di tempat org. Dah puas terbang dgn MH. Sekarang mencapai langit bersama Qatar Airways.
My hubby’s family semua pergi hantar ke KLIA mlm tadi. Semua tahan sebak. Memang nampak sgt. Tapi malas nak cakap. Sebab we know that we should be happy for her. We pray for her to be safe in her journey and hopefully she’ll be able to adapt herself very well in the new country.
Ok kak long! Luv u..muahs!
